He Prepares a Table!
Psalms 23:5 says: “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; my cup runs over.”
You may have some obstacles in your life that may be making you feel stuck. God is about to display His awesome power, not just so that you can see it, but so that other people can see it. When David says that God prepares a table before you in the presence of your enemies, that is not private. God is going to show out so that opposition and the critics will all see you promoted, honored, in a position of influence, in a public display. That is why you don’t have to prove to people who you are or waste your time trying to convince people who you are so that they can like you. Keep running your race, honoring God, and at some point, He’s going to lift you in such a way that your critics can’t deny the favor on you. People are going to know that the Lord is on your side. God will not only prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies, but He will also anoint your head with oil and your cup of blessings will run over.
